Danny Brown is an editorial and research assistant at OpenCity Projects and a planner at Urban Strategies, an urban planning and design consultancy in Toronto. His research interests include digital urban citizenship, tactical urbanism, and urban form.
Danny is passionate about the potential for communities to take ownership of their shared environments and connect with each other using new tools and technologies. He has translated these thoughts into action for a number of organizations locally and abroad including 100in1Day, LEAF, Sustain Ontario and Cycle Toronto.
When he isn’t getting his flâneur on, Danny enjoys waxing poetic on the future and losing himself in a good book. He contributes regularly to the OpenCity blog and tweets @dannybr0wn.
